Massive fire breaks out at Khan Lateef Khan building in Basheerbagh

HYDERABAD: A massive fire broke out at Khan Lateef Khan Estate here on Wednesday.

The accident took place on the 6th floor of the building opposite to LB Stadium at Basheerbagh.

Police, GHMC Enforcement teams and fire officials reached to the spot. Atleast eight fire engines were pressed into service to neutralise the dousing flames.

Fire tenders are battling to



douse the fire from outside since it is an old building and it is difficult for them to get inside.

According to police, most of the people were evacuated. No casualties were reported.

It was also reported that the fire personnel battling the blaze have been rushed to a hospital after he suffered suffocation.

A short-circuit is suspected to have caused the fire.
