Massive fire breaks out at Ramagundam Thermal Power Station in Peddapalli

Ramagundam: A massive fire broke out at the B -Thermal Power Station in Ramagundam of Peddapally district. The incident occurred on Tuesday midnight. A short circuit in the turbine and boiler center is believed to have resulted in a major fire accident.

The B-Thermal Power Station, which has been functioning for the past 50



years, is said to be in a grave situation as flames engulfed the control room, mills, and various equipment.

The firefighters reached the spot and managed to contain the fire. However, the extent of the damage is yet to be fully assessed. There were no casualties reported in the incident.
