Hyderabad: MBBS and BDS seats under local category in Telangana are now only available to the candidates who resided in the state for 10 years. Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University has issued a notice stating that the seats are available to the locals living in the state for the specified period of time.
"The candidates who come under local category at the time of verification either should have been studied in Telangana for 10 years or their parents resided in the state over the period," the notification said.
The varsity
sought the candidates to attach residence, caste certificates and TC from Class 6 to Class 10 at the time of verification. If the candidates have not studied in the state, the university ordered the candidates to bring residence certificate of their parents issued by Tahasildar confirming their 10 years of stay in the state.
The notice also ordered the candidates to produce an affidavit of Rs100 stamp paper stating that the attached files are original and in case of any fraud in the produced documents, legal action will be taken.
