Cold weather conditions have intensified in parts of Hyderabad and elsewhere as winter finally appears to have firmly set-in across all parts of the Telangana State.Telangana tourism

Accordingly, the minimum night time temperatures between Monday evening and early hours of Tuesday, dropped to a single digit i.e. to 9.5 degree Celsius, which is first single digit temperature recording for this winter season, at Kohir, Sangareddy district, based on weather observations made by amateur weather experts in Hyderabad.

While day time temperatures have more or less remained stable at around 30 degree Celsius and 31 degree Celsius, the mercury has dipped significantly during night times at certain places in the State.

Similarly, the mercury hovered between 10 degree Celsius and 12 degree Celsius at several districts including Rangareddy,



Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Adilabad, Asifabad, Sircilla, Siddipet and Medak districts.

At several parts of Hyderabad, especially outskirts including Rajendranagar and Ibrahimpatnam, the night time temperatures hovered between 11 degree Celsius and 12.5 degree Celsius. The minimum temperatures in old city ranged between 13 degree Celsius and 15 degree Celsius.

On Tuesday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has released a forecast indicating that the minimum temperatures across core regions of Hyderabad will hover 16 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius. Similar weather pattern is expected to continue till Monday, November 25, the IMD-Hyderabad.

Based on the weather forecasts from amateur weathermen in Hyderabad, the weather in Hyderabad and elsewhere in Telangana will continue to remain chiller for the next 9 to 10 days.
