On Wednesday, the temperature in Hyderabad was 38 degree Celsius above the normal and at a few places, the mercury increased and touched 39 degree Celsius.
According to Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), Bandlaguda recorded a highest temperature of 39.7 degree Celsius followed by Quthbullapur (39.1 degrees), Khairatabad (38.8 degrees) and Bahadurpura (38.7 degrees).
The weather
data with India Meteorological Department (IMD) at its Begumpet office on Wednesday indicated that maximum temperature in Hyderabad was 38.2 degree Celsius against the normal temperature of 35.9 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile as per IMD forecast, temperatures may continue to touch 39 degrees Celsius on Thursday could breach the 40 degrees Celsius mark later this week.
