Metro Rail service from Miyapur to LB Nagar to commence soon

The much-awaited launch of Metro Rail commercial operations on Miyapur-SR Nagar (11 km, corridor-I) and Nagole-Begumpet (16 km, corridor-III) stretches would commence sometime during the middle of this year, Hyderabad Metro Rail Managing Director N V S Reddy said.

Hitec city (27 km) fully operational by the end of this year, he said while addressing Metro Rail staff after hoisting the national flag on Republic Day on Thursday.

He said it was important to live up to the global expectations and standards and wanted efforts to strive hard to make Hyderabad a safe, secure and preferred destinations globally, said a press release.
