Midday meal programme launched in Telangana for more than 35000 children

Akshaya Patra Foundation launched a high-tech kitchen on Thursday in Narsingi, Hyderabad that would cater mid-day meals to more than 35,000 children in the state.

Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya along with Ministers, legislators and officials from Telangana were seen in



attendance.

The kitchen will be serving 366 anganwadi centres and 238 schools through the MidDay Meal Programme.

Chairman of Akshaya Patra Foundation, Madhu Pandit Dasa said that the foundation is committed to serve the nation and will feed five million children by 2020.
