Mild tension prevails at Chintal Basti as Danam creates ruckus over HYDRAA demolitions

Mild tension prevailed when Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender created ruckus while the civic authorities were carrying out demolitions of alleged illegal structures near Shadan College in Chintal Basti on Wednesday afternoon.

The MLA who angrily marched to the spot, demanded the authorities to stop the ongoing demolitions. Nagender was also furious with the



officials saying how the demolitions were taken up without his knowledge as he was the local elected representative.

He further warned that the demolitions should be stopped immediately and no action should be taken against structures until Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy returned from his Davos tour. He said that demolishing the houses of the poor was not right.
