MIM defies TRS wave in GHMC; others washed away : Won 44 Divisions

All India Majlis-Itthehadul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has protected its hold in the TRS wave in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections in which the Indian National Congress and the BJP-TDP combine, the main Opposition parties in the Telangana State, were washed away in the TRS wave.

The Party has won 40 seats and stood in a second place though its number decreased compared with last elections. In the last elections, MIM had won 44 divisions and stood at  third place.
