Mines dept will offer online permissions for transparency: KTR

Mines department will offer online permissions using latest technologies for transparency with speedy delivery, Mines and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao yesterday said. He launched a web portal for the purpose in addition to existing online services in mining department. Later he said that the process of mining lease and excavation will be speeded up using more technologies in future and register transport vehicles carrying



minerals. 

Integrated Surveillance System will be used for continuous monitoring of the related works and provide GPS, geo mapping, digitising lease area, use of drones and tagging. Having got significance in ease of doing business the mining wing will improve its services through services he said.
