Minister Konda Surekha distributes cheques to temple committees for Bonalu

Endowments Minister Konda Surekha here on Saturday distributed cheques to various temple committees in twin cities for organizing Bonalu festival in their respective areas from July 7.

Speaking after distributing cheques to the temple committees at a programme organized

here, the Minister said the Congress government sanctioned Rs.20 crore for celebrating the festival on a spectacular note. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will offer special prayers during the main festival celebrations to be conducted at Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad on July 21.
