Minor fire breaks out in Shamshabad police station

A fire broke out in the parking space of the Shamshabad police station on Thursday afternoon. Though no casualties were reported, three vehicles were damaged in the incident.

Though the cause is yet to be known, the fire erupted reportedly from a bike and subsequently spread to the other bikes and scooters parked beside



it one after the other. The police station staff and visitors, who noticed the fire, immediately rushed and put out the flames.

A short circuit in the battery of one of the vehicles or the rise in temperature is suspected to have led to the fire, police said.

The Shamshabad police are investigating.
