Minor girl ends life in fear of failing inter exam in Hyderabad

A minor girl who allegedly feared that she would fail in the intermediate exams, died by suicide by hanging in her house in Petbasheerabad on Monday night.

As per available information, the 16-year-old girl, who was an intermediate second year student of a private junior college



in Medchal, had appeared for the exams. However, she had been upset over her performance and ended her life.

She hanged from the ceiling fan in her bedroom with a scarf, after all her family members had slept.

The Petbasheerabad police are investigating.
