MLC K Kavitha hospitalised in Delhi

BRS MLC K Kavitha was on Tuesday shifted to the Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital in New Delhi after she developed health problems in Tihar jail. She returned to the prison after undergoing some diagnostic tests and consulting the doctors.

Sources said Kavitha was suffering from fever for the last couple of days. Her condition reportedly deteriorated on Tuesday, following which the prison



authorities rushed her to the hospital for proper medical assistance. However, the prison authorities informed that after medical consultations, she returned to the prison. Her condition was stable and there was nothing to worry, they added.

Kavitha has been in judicial remand at Tihar jail for nearly four months following her arrest in connection with Delhi excise policy case in March this year.
