A low pressure area is likely to form over the north Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood around September 6, giving scope for rain. According to the Met department bulletin, the upper air cyclonic circulation over north Odisha and its neighbourhood now lies over north-east Jharkhand, extending up to 4.5
km above the mean sea level.
The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at some places in the State from September 4 to 7. No large change during the period September 8-10 is the weather outlook.
