Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged the people of Telangana State to teach a lesson to ruling TRS party on April 11.
Addressing a public meeting at the Lal Bahadur stadium here, the Prime Minister alleged that the ruling party had become a “puppet” in the hands of the AIMIM party supremo and was not able to do anything as it was totally controlled by that party. While the Car belongs to the TRS, the steering wheel was with the AIMIM party. He also alleged that the MIM had obstructed the Hyderabad Metro Rail project and had become a bottleneck on the path of development of the capital city.
The Prime Minister said they had brought Triple Talaq Bill bravely. He also claimed that they were not imposing any new taxes on the people of the country. Referring to National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah in the company of Congress and Telugu Desam parties, the Prime Minister said Farooq Abdullah, who was keen on becoming Prime Minister of Jammu & Kashmir and hobnobbing with Opposition parties like the Congress and Chandrababu Naidu. Demanding an explanation from Trinamul Congress chief and Kolkata Chief Minister Mamata Benerji and AICC leader Manishankar Iyer on comments of NC leader, Prime Minister Modi appealed to the people to give a befitting reply to the power-hungry Congress party in April 11 polling.
Reminding
that he had come to Hyderabad in 2014 to seek blessings of the people for his victory, Modi claimed that there was a favourable response from the people all over the country starting from Hyderabad leading to the BJP forming government at the Centre. In the last five years, the NDA government had done wonders and pumped money to all the needy States for development of the States. He also said there will be no taxes on the common man in the next five years giving a great relief to the people from taxes.
The Prime Minister said if the Mahaghatabandhan happens to wrest power at the Centre by chance, the plight of the people in the country would be horrible with imposition of punitive taxes and rampant corruption in the country. Referring to the unemployment problem among the youth, the Prime Minister said over 15,000 startups have come generating lakhs of jobs for the youths. Now the youths instead of seeking jobs, were in a position to provide jobs through Mudra scheme.
Hitting out at TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Narendra Modi claimed that the former had done nothing for the poor in the State, but his own family members got benefited. Referring to the 2BHK scheme of TRS government, the Prime Minister defined that the 2BHK as “Baap, Beta, Harish and Kavitha” beneficial scheme.
