Rajya Sabha member and national president of BJP’s OBC national morcha, Dr K. Laxman said that they are organising a BC self-respect meeting here on November 7.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a meeting of Madiga and other sub castes on November 11.

Addressing the media in Delhi, he said, "The alliance with Jana Sena will benefit the BJP. Some leaders leaving the party will not harm us as the voters will not leave with them. Pawan Kalyan will campaign for our party."

Meanwhile, national general secretary Bandi Sanjay said in a release, "Rahul claiming that the Congress party will hold a BC

caste census if they come to power is laughable. Why did they not think of it when they ruled the country for fifty years? They are promising it only to gain power now."

Rahul saying that BJP promising a BC Chief Minister is misleading like the remarks of K.T. Rama Rao. These are meant to thwart BJP’s bid to make a BC as the CM. here. How many seats did the Congress party give to the BCs?" he asked.

MLA T. Raja Singh said, "BCs, who constitute more than 50 per cent of Telangana population, should get their due. Other parties are trying to water down the idea. BCs should unite and defeat these parties.
