Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali  directed the officials concerned to make all necessary arrangements for the Ramzan festival to be celebrated in June.

At a review meeting held in his chambers in the Secretariat, where Advisor to Govt. (Minorities Welfare) A.K.Khan, MLC & Chairman, Wakf Board Mohd. Saleem and senior officials were present, Mahmood Ali said some 500 Gift-Packs will be distributed at each of the 800 Masjids in the State from May 31 which include 400 Masjids in Hyderabad City and another 400 in the



districts. In addition to this, an amount of Rs.1,00,000 has been sanctioned for each Masjid for Iftar. He also directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for Iftar to be held at Fateh Maidan (L.B.Stadium) on June 8.

B.Janardhan Reddy, GHMC Commissioner, Dana Kishore, Secretary to Minorities Welfare and Managing Director, HMWS&SB, Anjani Kumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Mahesh Bhagwat, Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Arvinder Singh, Director, Protocol and other officials were present.
