Mohammed Saleem appointed as TS Haj committee Chairman

The State government reconstituted the Haj Committee and appointed Mohammed Saleem as the chairman of TS Haj Committee. He was the former chairman of Telangana State Wakf Board. Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali congratulated Saleem and felicitated him. His term office will be of three years. Mohammed Saleem is a senior TRS leader and close confidant of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He served as chairman TS Wakf Board for two terms.

Mohd Saleem was talking to the reporters and said that he got the opportunity to serve Haj pilgrims



and thanks to the Chief Minister for giving opportunity. He said that he will try to increase Haj quota by representing the Central Haj Committee. 

He also thanked the Home Minister Mohd. Mahmood Ali and Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi. 

On this ocassion, Home Minister Mahmood Ali, Srinivas Yadav, Committee Members Jaffer Hussain Meraj MLA Nampally, Farooq Hussain MLC, Waqf Board president Masiullah Khan, Syed Ghulam Ahmed and others were present.
