The Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan asked the Haj officers to ensure better facilities for Haj pilgrims this year.

“Khadimul Hujjaj (Haj officers) are considered an important link between pilgrims, the government, and the Haj committee. They must assist pilgrims in their time of need, particularly the death of pilgrims, loss of baggage or money,” urged, TSHC chairman Mohammed Masiullah



Khan.

Special officer Prof S A. Shukoor said officers must be in constant touch with the State Haj Committee, Consul General India in Jeddah, and carry out instructions issued to them from time to time. They also must wear the jackets given to them, so that they are easily recognisible. He said any unsatisfactory performance will result in disciplinary action and the amount incurred on them would be recovered.
