The ongoing Monsoon session of the State Legislature is likely to conclude on Wednesday, ahead of its scheduled date on September 28 amid increasing cases of Covid-19 in the State, sources said. While an official decision is yet to be taken, the State government is learnt to have conveyed the same to the legislators.

Reddy convened a meeting of the floor leaders of all political parties in the Assembly on Tuesday. Though the participants refused to speak to the media, sources said the State government suggested that the session be adjourned sine die following requests from the legislators amid increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the State.
