Monsoon still weak over Telangana

Monsoon currents have once again weakened over Telangana state and coastal AP while remaining normal over Rayalseema. There are no indication of rainfall up to the first week of July, which is considered to be the peak monsoon month.

The weather model used by IMD has not spotted any possible depression which will strengthen the monsoon currents. An IMD



official said there was no rain as there was no moisture in the atmosphere and prevailing dry hot winds from the northwest region were pushing up day temperatures.

Hyderabad city  can expect rain or thundershowers towards the evening or night, but it will be a warm day with day temperatures expected to be around 35ºC.
