Muslim govt staff can leave from work at 4 pm during Ramzan

The Telangana government on Monday said all its Muslim employees, including teachers, contract and outsourced staff, can leave from work at 4 pm during the holy month of Ramzan, from May 7 to June

4.

Chief Secretary SK Joshi said this was so that they could perform the necessary rituals during Ramzan, except when their presence at their place of work is required due to exigencies.
