Nagam quits BJP to join Congress

Party national executive member Nagam Janardhan Reddy decided to quit the party and join the Congress. Janardhan Reddy took the decision after consulting his followers at his hometown Nagarkurnool on Thursday.

Nagam has been indicating on his resignation for the past few months and said he



would take a decision after Ugadi. He has been unhappy with the party because he felt he was not being recognized and given due importance. After his indications on leaving, some BJP leaders met him and urged him to change his decision. But Nagam reportedly was firm on quitting the BJP.
