Naqvi assures to increase Hajj quota for Telangana pilgrims

Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs (Independent Charge) Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi assured Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mohammed Mahmood Ali that he will take measures to increase quota for Telangana during Hajj 2017.

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali contacted Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Saturday and



requested to allot quota of atleast 5000 pilgrims for Telangana as the present quota is insufficient according to Muslim population.Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi assured Deputy Chief Minister that he will talk on the matter after returning from Saudi Arabia and will visit Hyderabad and meet Dy CM and Minority Welfare officials if needed.
