The 21st national conference on e-Governance will be held today and tomorrow in Hyderabad. The government of India and Telangana Administrative Reforms department are jointly organising the conference with the main theme around- technology for accelerating development.
The conference will provide a forum for Secretaries of Administrative Reforms and Information Technology of the Centre and the State Governments, IT Managers and software solution providers to exchange views, discuss issues and analyse various solution frameworks.
The two-day conference will deliberate on several
aspects of the e-governance including its universalization and replication, governing e-governance, best practices, emerging technologies and synergising role of national and state governments.
Additional Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) Vasudha Mishra informed that Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Y S Chowdary will preside over the inaugural session while several ministers and senior officials will take part in the two-day conference. Over 800 delegates from all over the country are likely to attend the conference.
