Hyderabad: Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Tuesday said that appropriate legal action would be taken against Congress senior leader Digvijaya Singh for his controversial remarks against Telangana Police on social media platform Twitter.

Speaking to media persons here, the Home Minister said that TRS MLA Maganti Gopinath Reddy has already lodged a complaint against Digvijaya Singh for his remarks wherein he accused the Telangana



Police of creating a fake website to lure Muslim youth to join ISIS.

He said the complaint was being reviewed and necessary legal action would be taken against the ex-Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Stating that the Telangana Police officials have been doing a great job and honestly performing their duties, he asked Digvijaya Singh to withdraw his statement and tender an unconditional apology.
