As per the destination protocol advised by Maharashtra State government for Covid-19, the South Central Railway has advised all passengers travelling by trains to any station in Maharashtra to carry RTPCR Negative certificate without fail.
Maharashtra has made it mandatory that all passengers coming from outside and detraining in stations falling in the State must carry RTPCR Negative certificate which will have to be issued from up to a maximum of 48 hours before the time of entry
into Maharashtra and which will be valid for seven days.
Passengers were also advised to visit the official website of Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) before commencing their journey about the protocol to be followed at any of the destination State. And passengers travelling in long distance trains were requested to check the advisory and follow Covid-19 appropriate behavior for their safety and safety of others.
