GMR-led Hyderabad International Airport has introduced an easy and user-friendly parking system to minimize vehicle wait time at the parking exits in the airport under its ‘Passenger is Prime’ initiative, which seeks to continuously enhance the passenger experience at the airport.
The new parking system is aimed at making movement through the car park easy and free flowing for both incoming as well as outgoing traffic.
As part of the new parking mechanism, eight standalone Pay Booths
located across various points in the car park area will facilitate easy payment of parking fees and provide hassle-free exit by simply scanning the payment receipt.
The system came into effect from October 3 and will be available round the clock. On-ground support staff will be deployed at parking area to assist and guide users with the transition to new parking system. Passengers or cabbies can collect parking slip at the entrance, pay parking fee at ‘Pay Booths’.
