After the High Court on Monday had asked the State government to take a call on imposing night curfew or weekend lockdowns to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Telangana state government announced on Tuesday its decision to impose a night curfew from today across the state between 9 pm to 5 am. Essential services have been exempted from this. The night curfew will be in place till May 1.
