NIMS contract security personnel go on strike over non payment of salaries

The contract security guards at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) on Tuesday launched protests in the hospital campus over non-payment of salaries for the past two-months.

Demanding immediate release of



their salaries, the security guards, who provide security facilities in all the medical departments of the NIMS Hospital campus, boycotted their routine duties at OP, inpatients departments and in various health care facilities from 7 am on Tuesday.
