Five more districts also recorded maximum temperatures above 44 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, MET officials have issued
a red alert of a heat wave for several districts in the State for the next four days. They also issued an alert of warm nights wherein the minimum temperature continues to remain unusually high and a very high likelihood of people developing heat illness and heat strokes across all age groups. The IMD-Hyderabad has advised that extreme care is needed for vulnerable age groups.
