No power tariff hike this year: TSERC

There will be no tariff hike for domestic, industrial and commercial consumers across state for 2018-19. This was announced by Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission on Tuesday. The commission has retained the retail supply tariffs determined for the current fiscal for next year.

More than 2 lakh weavers are getting subsidized power under special tariff provided for the Siricilla Resco. Tha tariff for High Tension Lift Irrigation category was reduced by about 10%.
