No Urdu in the logo of Telangana Transport Department

Hyderabad:  In Telangana State whereas Urdu has been accorded the status of second official language but non-inclusion of Urdu in logos of various departments is a cause of concern. 

CM of Telangana, Mr. KCR made announcements repeatedly that every step would be taken for the promotion of Urdu in the State. In April, Mr. M. Mahendra Reddy, Transport Minister released the logo of Telangana State Road



Transport Corporation but Urdu was not found in it. The Minister’s attention was invited for this and he assured that Urdu would be included in the logo of TSRTC but so far, it was not done.

 Mr. M. A. Raoof Khan, President and Mr. Mohammed Saleemuddin, General Secretary of Telangana Minorities Welfare Sangam wrote a letter to Joint Managing Director of TSRTC demanding to include Urdu in its logo.
