NSUI, social workers organise rally in support of ‘Hijab’

Programmes in support of the ‘hijab’ continued at various places in the city on Monday.

At Government City College, students affiliated to the National Students union of India (NSUI) staged a demonstration in support of the ‘hijab’ and denounced the harassment of the students in Karnataka.



Around 100 students participated in the rally held at the Petlaburj junction.

A group of social workers also organised a ‘hijab’ distribution programme at Charminar and handed it over to several people including foreign nationals. The group explained to the people about the hijab and its importance.
