The 79th All India Industrial Exhibition, popularly known as Numaish, will reopen from 3pm on Saturday. The organisers of Numaish had closed the exhibition at Nampally for January 31 and February 1, following a major fire that occurred on the night of January 30. “We will cordon off the area of the stalls that were gutted by the fire and put
up barricades,” Dr B Srinivasa Rao, vice-president of the AIIE Society told.
The restoration of stalls damaged in the fire will be complete in the next two days. Other work, such as the removal of burnt material and iron-sheds from the site had begun on Friday, he added.
