One person killed, eight injured in explosion in Yadadri Bhongir

One person was killed and eight others injured in a major explosion at Premier Explosives in Peddakandukur of Yadagirigutta mandal in Yadadri Bhongir district on Saturday morning.

Among the injured, the condition of two workers, Kanakayya and Prakash, was reported to be critical. The injured were immediately rushed to



the hospital for urgent medical treatment. Kanakayya succumbed to his injuries during treatment, according to reports.

Police reached the spot and investigation is on into how the explosion occurred. Premier Explosives is into manufacturing industrial explosives and detonators.
