Orthopaedic Doctor Mazher Ali of Owaisi Hospital commits suicide in Banjara Hills

Hyderabad: On Monday afternoon, the well-known orthopaedic specialist Mazheruddin Ali Khan reportedly killed himself by shooting himself in the head at his home in the Banjara Hills.

Mazher Ali, who works at the Owaisi Hospital, is the father-in-law of AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi’s second daughter.

The doctor took his licensed weapon inside his room at his Banjara Hills home on Monday



afternoon and killed himself. He was discovered on the floor covered in blood and taken to the hospital by family members who heard a loud noise in the house. He was later pronounced dead.

Mazher Ali was charged with domestic violence a few months ago. Police believe that since then, he has fallen into depression.

The police are looking into it.
