Osmania Hospital Superintendent test Covid-19 positive

Superintendent of Osmania General Hospital (OGH) Dr. B Nagender has tested Covid-19 positive. During the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Nagender, who is also a senior member of TS Government Doctors Association, had continued to discharge his duties of providing treatment to out-patients and in-patients in the general surgery wing of the hospital.

Apart from clinical duties, the senior surgeon was also discharging his administrative



works as the Superintendent of OGH. For the past few months, Dr Nagender was also busy with completion of works related to Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS), Gachibowli.

It is understood that the doctor might have got infected while providing treatment to an asymptomatic patient at Osmania General Hospital. The senior doctor is in isolation and in stable condition.
