Over 2,000 cops deployed at Taj Falaknuma Palace

A heavy security blanket has been thrown in Taj Falaknuma Palace, the official venue for Prime Minister Nardenra Modi’s dinner for Ivanka Trump. The entire palace has been sanitized by Indian and state security agencies. Roof-top armed police pickets will be posted near the venue. A 2000-strong police force is being deployed.

additional superintendents of police, 12 assistant commissioners of police, 26 inspectors and remaining staff of South Zone police have been posted. Plainclothes policemen have also been pressed into service.

The police have fixed 150 high-definition CCTV cameras in the palace and they have been synchronized with the police command and control. Detectives of United States Secret Service have also joined the Indian security agencies in the task.
