A Panchatatva Park with walkway based on the concept of Accupressure was inaugurated by the MA&UD Minister, KT Rama Rao at Indira Park here on Sunday.
Speaking at the inaugural of the facility, the Minister said that as per the aspirations of the Chief Minister, K.Chandrashekar Rao to provide good environment to the citizens, the GHMC has developed 17 theme parks in the city.
The Panchatatva Park which was developed at a cost
of Rs.17 lakhs at the Indira Park has cross-walk, infinity walk, Yoga shed, ‘Raasi Vanam’, open gym and herbal plants, and has facilities for different age groups, he said. There is also a proposal to provide one more open gym as about 6,500 to 6,800 were visiting indira Park.
The GHMC has taken development of parks in a big way in the city and these include development of 300 tree parks 50 theme based parks.
