Passport Seva Kendra launched at Bhongir

Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) was launched by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, at Bhongir in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Tuesday.

Bhongir MP Boora Narsaiah Goud formally launched the services at Passport Seva Kendra on the premises of Head Post Office at Bhongir.

Goud said earlier people from the district were forced to go to Nalgonda or Hyderabad for submitting passport applications and for other services related issues and had to wait for



long in queues. Now, people need not go to other places as they could get the services at Bhongir, he added.

Bhongir MLA Pylla Shaker Reddy underlined the need to publicise the opening of Passport Seva Kendra at Bhongir for the convenience of the people of the district. Bhongir MP had taken the initiative and urged the Centre for setting up of POPSK at Bhongir. He thanked Narsaiah Goud for his contribution in bringing POPSK to the district.
