Karimanagar: People of Telangana are happy that the rule of foolish Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has ended, said BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

Speaking to media persons in Karimnagar on Sunday after results for Telangana assembly elections had been announced, he maintained that it is the BJP, which created awareness among people and fought for various public issues. But Congress party gained from it, he remarked.

Sanjay maintained that only to defeat him, people who belonged to the Muslim minority voted for BRS candidate Gangula Kamalakar, who demolished their houses and grabbed their

lands.

"At least now, the entire Hindu society must realise what is going on in their surroundings," he declared.

The BJP MP said that he did not shift loyalty to BRS even though the party offered him a huge amount of money. He maintained that BRS candidate Kamalakar had spent 200 crore to defeat him in the Karimnagar constituency.

"Kamalakar has won with only the money he amassed using his political power," he maintained.

Bandi Sanjay congratulated and conveyed his best wishes to TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy for securing majority of seats in the assembly for Congress.
