Warangal: Everyone thought their lives would be changed after the separate Telangana state was formed. But, under the ruling of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the people have been facing a lot of problems even after nine years of the state formation, alleged Huzurabad BJP MLA Etala Rajendar.
After flying to Mahabubabad district by helicopter, Rajendar addressed two public meetings held in support of BJP candidates of Dornakal constituency Bhukya Sangeetha and Hussain Naik of Mahabubabad segment on Thursday.
Rajendar alleged that Chief Minister KCR was playing with the lives of the people by encouraging belt shops in place of Gudumba battis (manufacturing units). The BRS government was making Rs 40,000 crores of income by transforming Telangana into a liquor state, he said.
The BRS leaders were browbeating the voters into supporting them in the elections while their government had waived off farm loans by selling the lands surrounding the Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad, he
criticised.
At the behest of the government, the chilli farmers of the Khammam district were thrashed by police and put in jail for staging a protest for MSP.
Condemning Rahul Gandhi’s comments, Rajendar said that it was the Congress which had been showing discrimination against the Backward Classes by allotting the CM posts only to those belonging to upper castes. The Congress will never come into power in the state.
Because the BRS is going to purchase all the ‘winnable’ Congress candidates like how it ‘purchased’ Dornakal MLA Redya Naik and his daughter MP Kavitha.
The BJP MLA said the country was leading towards enormous development under the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, receiving appreciation from several countries in the world and the establishment of the people’s government was possible only with the BJP. He urged the people to think wisely and elect BJP candidates Sangeetha from Dornakal and Hussain Naik from Mahabubabad.
