Plea to fill vacant High Court judges posts across two Telugu states

The High Court Advocates’ Associations of TS and AP on Wednesday requested the Chief Justice of India and the Chief Justice of Hyderabad HC to take steps for filling all the vacancies of the HC judges from among the advocates duly following the agreed ratio in appointing the judges from both the states.

At an



extraordinary general body meeting held by the TS and AP High Court Advocates’ Association, it was also decided to take a representation to the President, PM and Union minister for law for the purpose. It was unanimously resolved that the process of filling up vacant posts must be completed by Jan 31, 2017.
