Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao have expressed their grief at the fire incident at the Swapnalok Complex in Secunderabad resulting in the death of six persons. They also announced ex gratia to the families of each of the victims. 

In his message, the Prime Minister said pained by the loss of lives due to a fire tragedy and that his thoughts are with the bereaved families. He announced an ex-gratia of 2 lakh rupees from the PM National Relief Fund to the next of



kin of each deceased and 50 thousand rupees for those injured.

The Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia of Five lakh rupees to the family of each of the deceased. He assured that the state government will extend all support to the families of the victims and survivors. He instructed Ministers Mohd Mahmood Ali and T. Srinivas Yadav to monitor the relief operations.  He directed the officials to extend quality treatment to all the injured in the fire accident.
