Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off nine Vande Bharat trains connecting religious and tourist destinations across 11 states including the Hyderabad - Bengaluru train. The train will connect Kachiguda station to Yeshwanthpur station in Bengaluru. Narendra Modi inaugurated the train service through video conferencing.
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain, and other officials attended the inaugural ceremony at Kachiguda station.
While addressing the gathering, the Prime minister stated that Vande
Bharat trains represent New India, a vibrant and fast-growing nation. "To date, the total ridership of the already launched 25 Vande Bharat trains is 11,000,00. The trains will soon connect across the entire nation.
The destinations connected with Vande Bharat are registering a high number of tourist visits. While the previous governments neglected the Railways, the NDA has increased the budget allocation for the railway for better facilities and higher standards," the Prime Minister said.
