Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh this morning. He stayed at Raj Bhavan overnight as part of his three-day visit to Hyderabad. He took part in the 2-day BJP National Executive committee meetings, which concluded last evening.
He also addressed a public meeting - Vijay Sankalp Sabha at the Parade grounds in Secunderabad last evening. He stressed the double engine government for speedy development in Telangana and explained how the government programmes and schemes benefitting crores of people, especially women and downtrodden.
Earlier, the BJP in its key decision-making body, the National
Executive Committee meeting, passed a political resolution that stressed development politics and rejecting appeasement politics. In the resolution on economy and Garib Kalyan Sankalp, the BJP appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s timely assistance to crores of people during the covid pandemic and distribution of vaccines.
The party also appreciated choosing Droupadi Murmu as the presidential candidate in its political resolution. The party also emphasized the need for strengthening the party base, especially in the southern part of the country in particular Telangana, and discussed strategies for the same.
