Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a public meeting at Secunderabad Parade Grounds this noon after inaugurating and performing Bhoomi pujan to several development projects worth over 11 thousand 355 crore rupees in Telangana.
During the first leg of his three-state visit commencing later today, Mr Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several rail and road projects beside others.
During the short and first leg of his three-state visit commencing today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be flagging off the prestigious Vande Bharat Express train from Secunderabad - Tirpuati.
This is the second Vande Bharat train for the two Telugu States, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
One can reach Tirupathi from Hyderabad in about 8 hour 30 minutes by this train, which is about 3 hours less than usual with limited stops
at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole, and Nellore.
The Prime Minister will be laying the foundation stone for the re-development of Secunderabad railway station taken up at a cost of about 715 crore rupees and dedicate the completed parts of the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar doubling project to the nation. He will also inaugurate 13 new MMTS services on the occasion.
He will virtually lay the foundation stone for 6 national highway expansion projects and various development works at AIMS Bibinagar. He will address people of Telangana at a public meeting at Secunderabad Parade Grounds before concluding his brief visit in the State and leave for Chennai.
Meanwhile, in view of the Prime Minister’s visit, the authorities have imposed several traffic restrictions and diversions amidst tight security arrangements.
