Police arrest three cyber fraudsters for cheating woman of Rs.48.38 lakh in Hyderabad

What started as a casual conversation with a stranger on Snapchat, ended up in a woman losing Rs.48.38 lakh and slipping into depression.

The Cybercrime unit of Hyderabad police arrested three persons who allegedly cheated and extorted Rs.48.38 lakh from a woman. The arrested are Aman Joshi,



resident of Ramkoti, Prashanth Biradar, a resident of Shahinyathgunj and Rohit Sharma of Panduranga Nagar.

he victim came in contact with Aman through Snapchat and they used to keep in touch for long hours. During one of their interactions, Aman asked her for Rs.15,000 which she transferred to him.
